The Royal Wedding is a trend setter - Congrats Prince William & Princess Catherine

Yes I am a wedding-phanatic - with camera in hand awaiting the 8:30 AM EST kiss - here's my "Royal Shot" - a wedding job coveted by every photographer around the world - indeed!

Kate was absolutely exquisite and I'm sure will be setting some new trends for every upcoming bride:

  • Hats - loved the elegance of the hats - set the occasion apart as really special & honorable.
  • Simple - she didn't have candles and flowers lining the isle - but trees - i'm sure that will be planted somewhere near the palace - what a great concept - I am all for keeping things "green and recylcled" loved the idea - there is nothing worse than seeing hundreds upon hundreds of flowers being thrown away after a wedding.
  • Bridal party - again very very simple - kept it to family - I'm all for that - there is nothing worse than flipping through your wedding album and seeing people that you are no longer close with.
  • Bouquet - A simple wired bouquet of myrtle, lilly of the valley, Sweet William, and Hyacinth - designed with tiny blossoms that echo her personality - so different from the heavy bouquets that bride's have been using recently...
  • Bridal Dress - If I see another strapless dress -  i just might gag - she set an amazing trend of beautiful lace and appropriate neck line - nothing unnecessary hanging out - the beauty of this simple dress made her glow.
A romantic and elegant ceremony indeed... i am left with the words echoing in my mind, "The more we give of ourself the richer we become as one soul"!
